I'm sorry to report that Carlos didn't make it. I had some bleeding this morning, and my doctor told me to go to the ER. They confirmed that there was no heartbeat. There wasn't even anything discernible anymore except the sac. I'm surprisingly okay right now. I'm just numb; the emotions will come later once I've dealt with the physical stuff. I can't believe I'm willingly going to insert the dreaded tablets again. I'm waiting until tomorrow though - I've had enough for today.
Update: 11/8/10 - Wow, so many page views and comments from LFCA. Thank you all so much for the support! This is my third early miscarriage and the longest pregnancy I've had (9 weeks). We're doing okay and just trying to figure out what comes next. (If you want to know why its nickname was Carlos, here you go.)
